Grilled Provolone Cheese

If you love cheese, warm melted cheese, this is the right recipe for you. This is a common dish in Argentina. Enjoy it with a glass of Conquista de Argentina Malbec.


Ingredients:

2 slices of provolone cheese, 1 inch thick
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp dried oregano
black pepper to taste

Preheat the grill to high. Oil the grill grate. Rub the cheese slices on both sides with olive oil and the rest of the ingredients. Place the slices on the grill and cook for about 2 min. The cheese will start to melt a little, so don't let it sit long. Turn it and cook for another 1-2 min.

Sprinkle with fresh parsley. Serve with toasted or grilled bread, crackers, salami, salad.
